| The D&H Gravity Railroad Depot Museum is a last Depot existing from the Gravity Railroad of the pioneer D&H Canal Company. The Depot is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. The Depot was completed rehabilitated and rededicated in 2006. Memoribilia, artifacts, documents, photographs and other items of interest on the Gravity are exhibited. In the Train Car Shed, next to the Depot, is a restored/replicated Open Air Summer Passenger Car 43. Also on exhibit in the museum, in the Loading Platform room, are areas of local history: the schools, places of worship, the Home Front, Military and the South Canaan Post Office circa 1860. In the Waiting Room can be found files of information on the geneology of local names.
