| Ralph Van Gorder founded the business in 1936 as the Honesdale Furniture Exchange, and Van Gorders’ has grown and changed with the times. We offer distinctive rustic and classic style home furnishings in two showrooms, in Historic Downtown Honesdale and along Scenic Lake Wallenpaupack. A hallmark of our Lake Region showroom is its rustic ambience reminiscent of an Adirondack shopping experience.
