Mask Making
Location: Hawley Library

10 am to 3 pm - Mask Making at the Hawley Library | Your local youth librarians will have mask making materials out for you to create your Species Parade costume! Materials are available starting Tuesday, April 21 for the week. Nature themed picture books and local natural history books are available to enjoy at the library or to sign out.

Hawley, PA invites you to join in the celebration of love for planet Earth! It’s the one thing we all have in common, so let’s come together and recognize all that makes it wonderful. Local businesses and conservation organizations will be offering programs, activities, and events for a weekend of celebrating, learning, and exploring. Walk in the Species Parade, make crafts, meet guest speakers and explore hands-on activities at the festival. That is just a taste of what Hawley has to offer for the 2015 Hawley Earth Fest, April 23-25.

Nunsense, The Musical

"Nunsense" tells the story of The Little Sisters of Hoboken, who are putting on a musical variety show to raise money to bury bury sisters. Fifty-two nuns in their order were accidentally poisoned by the cook, Sister Julia, Child of God and the last four are in cold storage, awaiting money for a decent burial. The five nuns sing, dance and joke their way through the play, which is filled with comic surprises.
