Back by popular demand, Jack Barnett will be teaching all the ins and outs of pickling. What is pickling? Pickling is the process of preserving or expanding the lifespan of food by immersion in vinegar. What to expect? Learn how to pickle your early fall bounty! A great way to preserve without steam pressure canning. Jack Barnett will lead a DIY workshop for home cooks or anyone who loves locally produced food. What to bring? Nothing! Everyone will get to take a pint of pickles home using produce from local farmers.
