Now that you have the basics of water bath canning down, it’s time to take your canning game to the next level. Join Kristin White, aka Chicken Librarian, on her homestead as she helps you understand the more complicated features of canning. She’ll cover everything from the features of pressure canners, what foods you need to pressure can, and how to safely use a pressure canner, and more. Participants will get hands-on experience canning a food item and will leave with the knowledge needed to pressure can on their own. This class is for anyone who has experience with canning. Space is limited and registration is required. Class is held on October 23rd, from 10AM-3PM. Cost is $200. Location is the Delaware River Club, 1228 Winterdale Rd, Starlight, PA.
