Author Talk & Workshop "Living the Namaste Principle" at The Cooperage
Author Doug Bill announces publication of ‘Living the Namaste Principle’
HONESDALE, Pa. — On Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 3:00pm to 4:30pm please join us at The Cooperage in Honesdale for a workshop and book reading by author Doug Bill. Doug Bill traveled in the early 1970s to India and Nepal, where deeply moving experiences in overcrowded villages, along with later advanced studies in psychology and spirituality, awakened him to the oneness of all life. Those experiences planted the seeds for “Living the Namaste Principle: A Unifying Paradigm Shifting Fear to Love” (published by Balboa Press).
Using personal, illustrative stories from his life and work, Bill details the Namaste principle, which he simply defines: “We are reflections of one another, eternally connected.” He tells how this begins with the understanding that all people are linked, and the first step to loving others is to love oneself.
“Living the Namaste Principle” outlines Bill’s quest to awaken, access and embody the awareness of the divinity within, both personally and professionally. He offers practical wisdom to forge fulfilling connections with oneself and others and gives a new approach to living with integrity, spirit and love.
About the Author Doug Bill was born in Iowa raised in Indiana. He received a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from the University of Scranton. Bill and his wife, Rise, have held a private psychotherapy practice for more than 30 years in northeastern Pennsylvania where he also hosts the weekly radio show “Bodhi Talk.” They are co-owners of the Honesdale Wellness Center. He and Rise have two adult children and one grandchild. “Living the Namaste Principle” is Bill’s first book.
