Enjoy a weekend full of events that embrace the pristine natural beauty and fun atmosphere of the lake as well as visit local business and to experience their products and services.

Friday night will kick-off with a music tour at the area restaurants. On Saturday and Sunday, there will be a celebration of talent at the Open Market Fair at the Lake Wallenpaupack Visitors Center.  The Market will feature independent art, music, food and design. The Boat Show will take place in the Wallenpaupack Area High School parking lot on Saturday and a breathtaking bike ride will leave from the Visitors Center on Sunday morning taking eager bikers down to the Lackawaxen River.

Lake Fest will also host a variety of outdoor experiences taking place along the shore and across the Lake Wallenpaupack Nature Trail. Visitors will learn about kayaking, canoeing, boating safety, sailing, the PPL Dam and more.  Lake Wallenpaupack Dam and Power Plant Tours given on Saturday, August 27 - 10:00am to 3:00pm and Sunday, August 28 - 10:00 am to 3:00pm at the Environmental Learning Center.

The grand Boat Parade,  Individuals are encouraged to decorate their boats and enter into the judged parade on Saturday.

On Saturday night, people can visit the quaint Downtown Hawley to shop and dine at some of the best restaurants in the region.
