Northeast PA Railfest Flyer Excursion Combo
Location: Steamtown National Historic Site
Time: Sep 1, 2018 from 12:00 AM to 6:00 PM
It's the train event of Railfest 2018. We take you to the trains, and you can cover more railroad mileage in one day.
This journey begins at Steamtown, with a one-way ticket to Moscow, PA over the route of the Delaware Lackawanna & Western Railroad's mainline. After the Railfest photo runby and a lunch included in this ticket, a motor coach will take you to Lackawaxen, PA for the Stourbridge Line Rail Excursion one way trip to Honesdale, PA. This traverses the former Erie Railroad's Wyoming Division and the Honesdale branch. After a stop in Honesdale, the motor coach returns you to Steamtown before Railfest ends for the day.
This train ticket also includes admission to Railfest before train departure, and for Sunday, September 2. You can use the ticket to ride the Scranton Limited steam powered train through the yard, the Caboose Experience, and tour many of the other events of Railfest.
Tickets cost $80.00 per adult, age 13 and up.
$60.00 for children aged 3-12.
Children 2 and under ride free as a "lap pass."
*NOTE, the age range is different from Steamtown's usual ridership requirements.
